SAY NO TO PEP-11

The PEP-11 Petroleum Exploration Permit runs from Port Stephens to the Northern Beaches of Sydney. This permit could see oil and gas rigs erected anywhere along this coastline - even off Redhead, Dudley, or Swansea Heads!

The Morrison Government must STOP PEP-11 and guarantee there will be no oil and gas rigs off our precious coast!

SAY NO TO PEP-11!

The PEP-11 licence was first granted more than 20 years ago.  This is an opportunity for the NSW and Federal Governments to reflect the community’s sentiment regarding this licence and decline the renewal application.

PEP-11 should be stopped because it is the wrong project in the wrong place. It makes no sense from an economic, environmental, and energy perspective.

The Offshore Petroleum Joint Authority is the decision-maker for offshore petroleum title matters and its sole members are the Federal Minister for Resources, Water and Northern Australia, Keith Pitt MP and his New South Wales State Government counterpart, John Barilaro. Given the potential for an imminent decision from these Liberal Government Ministers on PEP-11, I would strongly encourage you to contact Minister Pitt directly and make your voice heard at:

The Hon Keith Pitt MP
Minister for Resources, Water and Northern Australia
