NEW EQUIPMENT FOR SHORTLAND SCHOOLS

Eight schools in the local area are benefiting from new or upgraded facilities and equipment, thanks to the Albanese Government’s investment in local schools.

The local projects include:

  • New outdoor learning spaces at Cardiff High School, Northlakes High School, St Patrick’s Primary School, St Kevin’s Primary School, and St Pius X Primary School
  • Refurbished classrooms at Charlestown Public School and Northlakes Public School
  • Air conditioning and ICT equipment at Garden Suburb Public School
  • Provision of flexible learning arrangements for students at St Kevin’s Primary School

This is all part of the Government’s School Upgrade Fund which has delivered a total of $186,400 in local projects in the Shortland electorate.

These new projects which are now complete are helping to build and better and fairer education for students in the Shortland electorate.
